Douglas R. Henne joined the firm in 1985 and became a partner in 1989.  He has 24 years experience with closely-held and public businesses with multi-state and multi-national activities. He specializes in tax and business consulting for a wide range of industries. His expertise includes merger and acquisitions, manufacturing, estate and family planning, professional service businesses, and state and local taxation. CPAs from many other firms regularly request his assistance on complex tax issues. Doug is past chairman of the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants State and Local Taxation Committee and, with that group, has for many years assisted in the Oregon legislature's passage of tax rules. Doug also serves as a Director on the Board of the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a mentor in the Portland State University Mentorship Program.
